LP Evans is a fresh, modern and dynamic law firm specialising in fraud and other serious crimes.
Based on Fleet Street, the practice was established in 2011 by Yaqub Hussain.
Yaqub is the sole proprietor, assisted by a team who run the practice day to day — all of whom made their names at large London offices.
Our growth since our foundation is based upon referral and own-client work. We moved to period offices in the heart of legal London in 2012 and have continued to grow, adding several experienced fee earners to our ranks.
With a reputation for client care and fearlessly fighting their corner, we continue to go from strength to strength and now defend in many of the largest and most high-profile criminal cases nationally and internationally.

Where we act

We represent clients all over the country — from the North East to the South West — as well as a number of clients based in Dubai and elsewhere in the Middle East. We are always willing to travel to meet clients at a convenient location.
We are regularly instructed to act for clients in relation to HMRC prosecutions, money laundering and cash seizures. We also specialise in representing those charged in the most serious criminal cases, including murder and large drug importations and conspiracies.
